2011-2012 Grassroots Competition – Students Going Green
It’s time once again for the GOC Grassroots Competition - this time with a twist! As before, we are asking students to get involved and reduce their school’s impact on the environment.
This year we are happy to announce that elementary schools will have their own division in this competition (Grades K-6). We will also have a division for junior high/high schools (Grades 7-12) as in years past.
The competition format has also changed! We will now be taking applications for awards before you get started to help move your project along! Be creative because there are only 3 awards for each division – one $500 award and two $250 awards.
