The first thing you must do is submit a registration form detailing what your plan of action will be. You may register as an individual or a team. All registrants must have a teacher or administrator as a sponsor.

Final Report

Download the 2010 Final Report details here

Once you've turned in your registration, you have until April 2nd, 2010 to complete and measure the effectiveness of your project. Submit your final report by April 3rd, 2009.

Remember, the 4 main categories for evaluating your project are:

  1. Innovation and creativity
  2. Positive environmental impacts (e.g., energy savings, waste reduction, pollution prevention, landscape enhancements, use of local food sources, etc)
  3. The impact of your project.  Does it impact just a few students or the whole community?
  4. Potential for continuation and/or expansion either within your school or to other schools or sites.

The report should:

  • Detail the steps you’ve taken to complete your project
  • Detail your project’s environmental impact
  • Describe how you will expand or extend your project if you win.
